Summary
The Global Trigger Tool give you the ability to measure harm in a simple and cost effective manner and it can be built into existing and traditional measurement of quality (audit, risk safety). Data can be used to create "will" in an organisation for change and allows that organisation to understand unique problems it is facing.
Organisations and health-care systems can therefore develop the ability to measure harm in a simple and cost effective manner.
